I had a nice stay at Nethercliffe! The breakfast was top-notch with fresh porridge and a hearty Scottish feast. The staff were super welcoming too. The only downside was the tricky toilet step. I kept forgetting about it after a long day of exploring.

Staying at Nethercliffe in Wick was quite pleasant, largely due to the comfortable twin room setup I enjoyed. The beds had fantastic support and offered a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a good shower, though I noticed the pressure wasn't as strong as I would have liked. Breakfast was a standout, with freshly made porridge and a hearty cooked Scottish breakfast that really hit the spot. I appreciated the friendly staff who made me feel at home. the hotel does have considerable stair access issues. reaching my room involved navigating quite a few steps, which could be challenging for some. I also wish there were more options for evening meals, as the restaurant wasn't open late. Despite these minor inconveniences, I found the stay enjoyable overall.

Decent room size, comfortable beds, and a spacious bathroom with a great shower.
Unreliable wifi in the guest room, often dropping connections. No on-site parking and a somewhat poor breakfast selection. Access involves navigating numerous stairs, which can be tricky for those with mobility issues.

the room was clean and the breakfast was so good! the staff were super friendly and welcoming. it was nice to have tea making facilities in the room. also, the location was perfect for exploring wick. we loved the backyard garden, it was a chill spot after a long day.
the room was kinda small, and getting there involved a lot of stairs which was tricky. also, the decor feels a bit dated.
